Nuggets Take 3-0 Lead in Series

The Denver Nuggets continued their dominance over the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 5 of their NBA playoff series on Saturday night, winning 114-103 to take a commanding 3-0 lead.
Nikola Jokic led the way for the Nuggets with 30 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists, while Jamal Murray added 22 points and 6 assists. The Lakers were led by LeBron James' 26 points, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Nuggets' balanced attack.
The Nuggets jumped out to an early lead and never looked back, leading by as many as 20 points in the second half. The Lakers made a run in the fourth quarter, but the Nuggets were able to hold on for the win.
The Nuggets will now have a chance to close out the series in Game 6 on Monday night in Los Angeles. The Lakers will need to win both Game 6 and Game 7 to force a Game 7 in Denver.
